Useful widths without accidental upscaling
Start with 480, 960 and 1440 pixels, then match the breakpoints to your real layout. Width descriptors let the browser choose for viewport and pixel density; smaller originals are capped at their native width, and the generated markup includes dimensions, lazy loading and async decoding.
